Lourdes L. Bastas, A.B.D. is the Associate Director of Post Award for Grants and Contracts at the University of North Georgia. She serves as the key resource to principal investigators in all matters related to the University policies for post-award activities.
Ms. Bastas is responsible for providing timely, accurate, and courteous consultation to faculty, external sponsors, and other University personnel to exercise good management practices and ensure proposals and awards comply with the university's internal policies and funding agency's regulations. Providing proactive strategies, guidance, and training, she offers her academic and sponsored research skills, encouragement, and support throughout the grant awards' life cycle. Ms. Bastas' 28 years of professional experience in higher education includes serving in various roles at PUI, R1, Ivy League, State, and Private Institutions.
